Santa Claus is a popular figure at Christmas and holiday parties. You can become Santa Claus for an evening of fun. There are several ways you can dress as the popular character, and many accessories that go along with the outfit.

The most important part of the costume is, of course, the beard. Many actors and performers wear fake beards that cover their entire faces to complete the look. Either full or partial face beards will work for this costume.

Just as important is Santa’s jolly belly and red suit. Either a big, padded belly or a red shirt that you stuff with paper or batting will do the trick. You can also use a Santa Claus mask if you do not want to wear a beard or have your face painted red.

Even though Santa wears boots in many movies and stories about him, any kind of black shoe looks good with this outfit. If you want to go all out, though, you may consider wearing boots made from fake fur, like Uggs or other winter boots.

You must also wear black pants with your outfit, but these do not have to be fancy at all. A belt is required as well; use one that is either very thick black leather or one that resembles a cord for a firewood log cabin
