This is my first post. Here’s a quick summary of my background: I’m a computer science student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I’ve been a software engineer at Google since 2011 working on Google Chrome. My hobbies are skiing and hiking in the winter and water sports in the summer.
I’ve always been interested in programming and technology and that’s why I’m here writing this first post today. I hope to be able to share some useful tips for choosing costumes for halloween this year!

Halloween is Coming!
Halloween is coming up in less than a month and that means you’re going to need a costume. The best part of Halloween is definitely the costumes. Whether you’re going to be trick or treating, or just having a party, here are some great ideas for costumes.
1. Witch- Witches are always a good idea when it comes to Halloween because they are so easy and there are so many different ways you can go with them. You could go with an old witch, a sexy witch, or even just a very basic witch. It all depends on what you want to do with your hair and makeup as well as the clothes that you wear.
2. Cat- Cats are another really great idea when it comes to Halloween costumes. Everyone knows that cats are super cute and there’s something about dressing up as one that makes people think you’re cute too! There are so many different ways that you can dress up as a cat because there are so many different types of cats out there. For example, you could be an ordinary house cat or even an exotic leopard or tiger!

2) Zombies- The great thing about zombies is that they’re very easy to make costumes for. All you need is some ripped up clothes and face paint and you’re good to go!
3) Clowns- Clowns are also popular this year and there’s many ways to go about this one as well. Some people like to go the scary route with creepy clown costumes while others go for the classic look with big shoes and red noses.
