Spiderman’s origin story is tragic. His Uncle Ben gets killed after he let a thief run away. This makes him realize that great power comes with great responsibility and that he should use his powers for the betterment of society.

Spiderman has one of the best rogues gallery in comics. The villains are divided into two categories: ordinary people and supervillains in costumes. Most of them want revenge on Spiderman for something he did or didn’t do, which is more relatable than wanting to take over the world or destroy earth because you’re bored.

Spiderman is a nerd and geeks can relate to him more easily than other superheroes because he is also awkward around women and lacks social skills.

Spiderman is brave enough to stand up to anyone no matter their power level; whether it’s Doctor Octopus or Norman Osborn, he doesn’t care who they are or what they’ve done before, he’ll always stand up to them and fight until the bitter end.
