7 Facts You Need to Know About After Parties

7 Facts You Need to Know About After Parties: a post covering all the facts needed to host and attend a great disco after-party.

This is your chance to party like it’s 1979! Or whenever disco was big. I don’t know, I wasn’t there. Anyway, after the official party is over at 10pm, the dance floor is yours until 2am. This isn’t an event you want to miss!

But if you’re wondering what an after party really entails and how you can make the most of it, then this blog is for you. Here are my 7 tips for throwing a successful disco after party…

After Parties: 7 Facts You Need to Know

After parties are a staple of the disco lifestyle, and for good reason. After parties are a great way to let loose, have fun, and make new friends that you may not connect with at the main event. That being said, after parties can be daunting if you don’t know what to expect. So we’ve put together a quick guide to help you navigate your next after party, so you can have the best time possible!

1) First and foremost, it’s important to remember that after parties aren’t subject to the same rules as the main events they follow. The venue will most likely be smaller and less official than the main event, which means there won’t be a coat check or security at the door. That also means there is no expectation for fancy attire or special shoes; just bring yourself and some good friends!

2) After parties usually occur after midnight. A lot of organizers like to keep their schedule under wraps until the day of the event, so keep an eye out on social media for information about when and where it starts.

3) Don’t be shy! As we mentioned before, after parties are a great way to meet people outside of your usual social circle. Don’t be afraid

The first rule of after parties is you do not talk about after parties. And the second rule of after parties is, you DO NOT talk about after parties. If any of this sounds familiar, it’s because you probably have seen the movie Fight Club.

Fight Club was a great movie, but I can tell you what would have made it even better: if there had been an awesome after party that followed the fights.

After parties are great for three reasons: people are relaxed from drinking, people are open to meeting new people since they’re with their friends, and they tend to go pretty late into the evening (or early morning). Chances are everyone knows each other at the party, so it’s a lot easier to strike up conversations and meet new people.

Since I’ve attended a ton of after parties in my life, I wanted to write up some tips and pointers for those who may be interested in getting started with them. Here are 7 facts on everything you need to know about after parties:

1. After parties are the product of a simple equation:

More time + more space + more people + more dancing = more fun

2. The best after parties happen when you don’t have to leave your house.

3. The best after parties are babies born out of other party-babies. This is called ‘second-generation’ after partying, and it’s where the real fun happens.

4. The best DJs in town will be found at the best after parties, but only if you know where to look for them. If you’re not sure how to find them, ask a friend who knows.

5. You can always tell if someone has been to an after party by looking at their eyes and listening to their stories. They will be bright and sparkly and full of surprises!

6. After parties are like silent movies: the best ones don’t need words or music – they just happen!

7. To host a successful after party, it helps to have friends who are good at organizing things – like food, drinks, decorations and entertainment! But if you don’t have any friends like that yet – don’t worry! You’ll make some soon enough 🙂

The next step is to invite everyone you know that might want to come. Get creative with your invite list. Some after party invitations are sent by word of mouth, others are posted on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. Some people even send out formal invites, but this is not necessary for a simple after party.

Also, be sure to have enough food and drinks for whoever might show up. The last thing you want is an empty fridge in the middle of the night when all your guests are hungry and thirsty.

And finally, make sure you’ll have a place to crash at the end of the night. Many great after parties end with everyone going home together. If this is what you’re planning on doing, plan ahead and make sure everyone knows when they can leave their house, where they’re going, and how they’ll get there!

After parties. You’ve heard of them. They’re the part of the evening where everyone gets together to blow off steam and have a good time. But what makes a good after party? What separates a great party from an okay one? Those are the questions I’m going to answer here today.

1) The right music

What’s the right kind of music for an after-party? Anything upbeat and fun, preferably electronic or electronic-style dance music, because it’s going to be loud and you’re probably going to want to dance.

2) The right people

Who should you invite to your after party? People who are fun, who like to dance, and who are not too shy or inhibited. In other words: don’t invite your weird uncle Bob.

3) The right drinks

This one is simple: beer or liquor will do just fine (provided no one has any allergies). Soda is also a good option if you want something nonalcoholic. Don’t bother with wine; nobody ever has enough glasses.

The Best Way to Host an After Party

1. The after party is a great way to keep the night going.

2. If you are hosting, plan ahead and make sure you have enough seating, food and drinks for the whole group.

3. A good playlist is key to setting the mood and creating a fun environment for everyone to enjoy.

4. Don’t forget about your neighbors! Let them know about your party ahead of time so there’s no surprises or complaints later on down the road.

5. Keep it short and sweet by ending your party at midnight or 1 AM – that way people can still get some sleep before work tomorrow morning!

6. Make sure everyone has transportation home from your event in case they need to leave early or stay late with friends at their own place instead of driving back home late at night without any sleep! You don’t want anyone getting into an accident due to drowsy driving after leaving yours too tired because they stayed up all night partying!

7. If you can’t host, then find someone who will! If not, then just hang out at home or go see what other people are doing tonight instead of having one yourself
