This is a tough one to answer because there is no clear definition anywhere (that I could find) on what constitutes a Wonder Woman costume. It’s pretty obvious that any costume with the words “Wonder Woman” will be considered a Wonder Woman costume. However, there is also no definition of what makes a costume qualify as a Wonder Woman costume. For example, I found plenty of costumes with skirts and capes and boots that had no mention of Wonder Woman; however, they look identical to ones that do have “Wonder Woman” on them. So I am going to assume that if it looks like a Wonder Woman costume or has Wonder Woman on it, then it’s a Wonder Woman costume. Now on the other hand

The best part about this iconic character is that if you want to dress like her for Halloween (or any other day of the year!), you can do it without spending a ton of money or having to make your own costume from scratch (like I had done before).

A: No, Not all Wonder Woman Halloween costumes are made in China.

The question is how do you know which ones are made in the USA?

Well, I just spent far too much time searching for a Wonder Woman halloween costume that was made in the USA and it’s not easy to find. It seems like most of the online stores are just selling the same products from overseas. If you want to buy an authentic Wonder Woman costume then you need to check out the selection at Amazon.com. The only problem is that it’s really hard to tell which costumes are actually made in America and which ones are sold by other companies (who make them overseas).

I did manage to find a few American-made options though so here they are:

Are ALL Wonder Woman Costumes Made in USA?

This was the question asked by a reader of this blog. I thought it would be great to include this question and answer on my blog so that others could benefit from the information. I have tried to look into the question and here is what I found out:

As far as I can tell, all of the Wonder Woman costumes made by Rubies (a major costume company) are made in China. I couldn’t tell if anyone else makes WW costumes or where they may be made. Here is a quote from their website about their manufacturing: “Rubie’s Costume Company is based in Long Island, New York and has been bringing fun to families for generations with our innovative costumes and accessories.” They did not mention where their products are actually manufactured.

I am still looking for Wonder Woman costumes made in America and will update this post if/when I find any.
