There are a lot of costumes out there but sometimes you just want something that is pretty and comfortable. If you like the Disney movie frozen, and want to dress up as Princess Jasmine but don’t want to wear a belly dancing outfit, try this. All you need is a few articles that can be found at any local store.

A blue shirt is needed. It should be something comfortable and loose, with a round neck line. I would recommend some sort of t-shirt. Then you will also need a cropped cardigan. This could be any color from gray to black, but be sure it is cropped or short so it does not go below your waist line. You will also need some blue leggings or pants. I would recommend dark blue skinny jeans for this, found at your local department store.

Now for the accessories! Find some gold bangles and earrings for your wrists and ears respectively. The gold jewelry can be found at most jewelry stores or even dollar stores in the costume jewelry section. If you have long hair find a gold headband with a flower on it or just get a blue headband with gold trim on it and stick a flower on it (flowers are optional).

I had a blast helping my daughter create her Frozen Jasmine costume for Halloween this year! It was pretty simple, and I think it would be really easy to recreate using just about any bathing suit or t-shirt and leggings.

The first step was to find a blue bathing suit. We found one at Meijer (a regional grocery store) that looked awesome! It was sparkly, with the design on both sides (one side is pictured below).

I then went to Walmart and bought some black leggings, a matching long sleeve shirt, and some white ribbon. I also bought some gold tulle fabric on clearance at Joann Fabrics after Halloween last year because I thought it would be perfect for this costume. I used a little bit of the gold tulle fabric to make the sash around waist.

I also used another piece of the tulle fabric as well as some white ribbon to make the headband that jasmine wears in the movie (see picture below).

Overall, we spent about $30 on this costume and my daughter got so many compliments all night!

As my daughter continues to grow, she starts to enjoy movies and characters more and more. I love it when she enjoys something that I also enjoy! One of the most recent movies she has enjoyed is Frozen.

Since she enjoys the movie so much, I started looking for a costume for her to wear for Halloween. It turns out that it was much harder to find a Jasmine costume from Frozen than I thought it would be. Most of them were either way too expensive or simply not very cute.

So, I decided to create my own Jasmine costume for her!

I took an old shirt and skirt combination (from Gap) that she already had and used some iron-on fabric to make a belt piece (from Joann’s). I bought some iron-on fabric in the same color as her outfit as well as some iron-on gold glitter fabric. For the belt piece, I cut out two pieces of the same size and then ironed on the gold glitter fabric to one side.

I am a woman in her thirties and a mother of two. I work full time in the health care field and I am always looking for fun activities to do with my kids. My family loves Disney movies, especially Frozen. We have watched it so much that I can almost recite the entire movie by heart.

So when Halloween rolled around, we were excited to dress up as characters from Disney’s Frozen. My daughter wanted to be Anna and my son wanted to be Olaf, but I had trouble finding a costume for myself. After searching for hours on end, I decided that there weren’t any costumes out there that fit my criteria: Comfortable and easy to wear (no scratchy fabrics), modest, beautiful and not too expensive.

I decided to make my own outfit based on what the character Jasmine would wear if she lived in the frozen kingdom of Arendelle. It ended up being super comfortable and easy to wear all night long at Halloween parties or trick-or-treating with my kids.

I love this costume because of how accurate it looks to the movie. The colors are vibrant and beautiful! And the design is very well done. It looks like something that was purchased at Disney World or Disneyland rather than ordered online. The other thing I love about this costume is the fact that it’s so comfortable.

The only thing that I would change about this costume is to add some pants. This outfit doesn’t come with pants, which means you have to wear your own leggings under it if you don’t want to get cold legs while out in public.

The Disney movie, Frozen, has become quite the sensation. Girls (and boys) everywhere are in love with the story of Elsa and Anna.

That said, I wanted to come up with a costume that was easy to make and comfortable to wear. I wanted it to be something that my daughter could wear at school or at a party!

So here is what we came up with: This was really easy but yet so cute! We made this using a pair of blue leggings and a white shirt. The shirt was a long sleeve shirt and that worked great for the colder weather.

She also wore a blue sweater over the top of it all.

The best part about this is that it all can be worn again after Halloween is over, too! That makes it even better!

I’ll be the first to admit that when I heard about this new Disney movie Frozen, my initial reaction was “hmm, what could be so great about a movie starring ice and snow?”

Sure, there’s Kristoff, the rugged and handsome guy with the icy blue eyes. And of course a few songs that are being sung by everyone these days – even my 3 year old niece “Let it Go” (which by the way is one of my favorite songs).

But for some reason this movie has struck a chord with me. It is based on a tale of two sisters who are willing to do anything for each other. They were able to overcome their differences and realize how much they needed and loved each other.

I believe that every girl gets a little bit nostalgic when they hear the phrase “best sister ever”. Let’s face it – we’ve all lived through our fair share of sibling rivalry. And although at times our parents may have wished that we would just get along, I can’t imagine our lives without them. There’s something about having someone there for you through all of life’s ups and downs that makes the whole experience more bearable. Even if at times it does mean pulling pranks on each other or tattling to Mommy!
