Turn the costume inside out and get it soaking in cool water. You won’t need anything fancy – just a tub or sink full of cool water will do. Once the costume is soaking, go ahead and wash it according to the care label instructions.

Finally, gently squeeze the excess water out of the costume and lay it flat on a clean towel and roll it up to remove even more water. The final step is to hang dry until it’s completely dry. This may take up to 24 hours but trust me, your efforts will pay off when your child’s costume looks brand new again!
