I was invited to a Halloween party and I really wanted to dress up. I didn’t want to spend too much money. I found a wedding dress for $8 at a thrift store. I got the idea from Bride of Chucky, the movie.
I used dark red fabric paint from Michaels to paint the flowers on the dress. I painted my shoes and hand bag with the same paint. To make it look more like blood, I mixed red and black paint and put it on top of the flowers in random areas. I also painted my nails black with sparkles.
I put my hair in a French twist with a small veil that matches the dress.
I painted on fake tattoos to make myself look more evil (red hearts and skulls). I used eye liner to draw whiskers on my face, a long nose and big smile (like Chucky). I also used eye shadow to underline my eyes and make them look darker.
I wore white gloves, which were a bit too big but they worked fine with the costume.
