Four DIY Costumes That Will Put Your Faith In Tinkerbell Back

Hello, Halloweenies! Halloween is fast approaching, and we’ve already got our costume picked out. But if you’re still undecided, here are four DIY Tinkerbell Costumes that will put your faith in the little fairy back:

1) Our first costume is from a blog called “Dooce.” Heather Armstrong has two daughters who are huge fans of Tinkerbell, so when it came time for Halloween, she decided to do a Tinkerbell-inspired costume for each of them. Her oldest daughter went with the more traditional look, complete with wings and a wand, but her youngest daughter went for something a little more interesting — what Dooce calls “Tinkerbella” — an awesome blend between Peter Pan’s favorite fairy and Mexican wrestler Sin Cara.

2) Next up we have one of our favorite costumes from last year: “The Lady Tinkerbell.” If you’re looking for something that’s simple yet elegant, then this costume is perfect for you! To make your own Lady Tinkerbell costume all you need are some green tights and a green dress. If you don’t have any green tights lying around (or they just aren

In the early 1900s, when Tinker Bell first appeared in print and on stage, she had a head full of blonde curls and wore a green dress. Since then, Tink has evolved into the short haired, short skirted pixie with whom we are all familiar. In honor of her evolution, I’m going to show you four different Tinkerbell costumes that will put the faith back in your Tinkerbell!

1. A Tinkerbell Costume That Is Easy To Make – All you need is a green t-shirt and a pair of green pants. Add some pixie dust with glitter makeup, curl your hair and voila! You have an adorable Tinkerbell costume for Halloween or other special occasion.

2. A DIY Tinkerbell Costume That’s A Little More Elaborate – For this look, you’ll need a pair of green shorts and a white tank top, plus some white tulle fabric. Cut out matching wings from the tulle fabric by following these easy steps: fold the material in half lengthwise and then cut out two wing shapes from the fold. Glue them to the back of your tank top using craft glue or hot glue gun (careful with that!). Then add some pixie dust with glitter makeup!

3. A Tinker

I’ve always been in love with Tinkerbell. As a kid, I had a huge Tink collection, including stuffed animals, dolls, clothing, and even a Tinkerbell clock. As I got older, my fascination with the tiny blonde fairy began to fade. But when it came time to pick out a Halloween costume this year, I couldn’t help but think back to my childhood love for Tink. After browsing a few different sites for costumes, I realized that there are four main ways to dress up as Tinkerbell this Halloween:

1. Classic Tinkerbell

2. Sexy Tinkerbell

3. Disney’s Pixie Hollow Tinkerbell

4. Red-Haired Pixie from Peter Pan III: The Neverland Wars

Tinkerbell is a popular costume choice for Halloween, but if you want to stand out from the crowd, it’s important that you design your own rather than buy an overpriced one at your local costume store. With these four original Tinkerbell costumes, you can show everyone that Tinkerbell is still as cool as she was when you were a little girl.

1. Classic Tinkerbell – The first thing to think about when making a classic Tinkerbell costume is the color scheme. Obviously, green and yellow are going to be the primary colors, but a little blue or pink will go a long way in making your costume stand out from the crowd. You don’t want to look like just another fairy, after all!

You’ll also need some accessories. A wand is a must-have (and it’s not hard to make your own with a little glitter and glue), as well as some wings (which can be constructed using pipe cleaners and pantyhose). Don’t forget the shoes!

2. Fairy of Spring – Now that you’ve got the hang of making a classic Tinkerbell outfit, it’s time to branch out into other seasons. The spring fairy is all about green and pink; think of everything budding and blooming. This kind of dress

This year, I decided to be Tinkerbell for Halloween. Luckily, I had a bunch of supplies on hand and it wasn’t difficult at all. Here are four costumes that I made quickly and easily with materials I already had.

1. The first is Tinkerbell’s classic green dress with her wand and wings. This is the easiest one to make because you can use materials you have on hand.

2. The second is Tinkerbell’s green dress from the Disney movie with the same wand and wings. This costume is a little more difficult because you will have to buy the pattern for the dress or spend a lot of time searching for one online.

3. The third is Tinkerbell’s blue dress from the Disney movie with her wand and wings. This one requires some sewing skills and time but it’s definitely worth it! You can also use this tutorial as inspiration for other costumes such as Princess Aurora (from Sleeping Beauty) or Belle (from Beauty And The Beast).

4. The last costume idea is Tinkerbell’s purple dress from the Disney movie, this one doesn’t take much at all! Just use whatever you have lying around your house like an old shirt or skirt that would fit tinker bell perfectly 🙂

Ever since Peter Pan was released in 1953, Tinkerbell has been one of the most recognizable Disney characters. Whether it’s her signature green dress or her sassy attitude, kids and adults alike love her.

We know you’re looking to find a costume that’ll be fun to wear and easy to make. No matter your age, we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite DIY Tinkerbell costumes for Halloween.

Tinkerbell Classic Costume

This is a very simple and easy costume to make at home. You start out with a green tank top and pair of leggings as your base. If you don’t have them, you can buy them at any store that sells children’s clothes. Next, you can use fabric paint on the outfit to add details like frills and sparkles. A great idea for the shoes is to get some flat slippers that are silver or gold and paint them with glitter paint. You can find these at any local arts and crafts store. You can also add some fairy wings if you wish!
