Ghostbusters costumes are not difficult to come by, but there are so many options that it can be difficult to pick the right one. This guide will help you find the perfect Ghostbusters costume for this Halloween.

No matter what type of costume you eventually choose, your Ghostbusters costume needs to include three things:

– A proton pack. If this was an actual working prop from the film, it would cost thousands of dollars. Fortunately, there are plenty of knock-offs available for a reasonable price. You don’t need to worry about getting an exact replica—it’s more important that your proton pack has the basic look of the proton packs from the movies.

– A ghost trap. Just like with the proton pack, it doesn’t matter if your ghost trap is an exact replica from the movie or not. As long as it looks like a ghost trap, you’ll be fine.

– A PKE meter. The PKE meter looks pretty straightforward and easy to replicate; if you have some experience with electronics and props, then you could make

Don’t forget your ghost-busting accessories! A couple of noisemakers and some silly string can go a long way in making your costume complete, but don’t forget your proton pack and ghost trap!
