This Halloween, you’ll be seeing a lot of Minions.
In the past few years, there have been plenty of costumes that have gone viral and everyone ended up wearing it for Halloween. Remember last year’s Flamingo?
Well this year it’s going to be all about the Minion. Minions, for those of you who don’t know, are the little yellow creatures from Despicable Me. They are pretty much the cutest thing ever, which is why everyone will be wearing them come Halloween night.
“It’s cute and it’s recognizable,” said Stacey Kinkaid, assistant buyer at Party City in Greenville, South Carolina. “It’s something people are familiar with.”
Party City shoppers might recognize what they’re talking about when they go to purchase a costume, but there are plenty of people who aren’t familiar with Despicable Me or Minions. The first movie came out in 2010 and was a huge hit. The second movie came out earlier this year and also did really well at the box office.
The most popular costume will probably be the Minion Goggle Kit Adult Costume Kit. It has some goggles and hair that looks like one of the Minions’ heads with two eyes on top and a mouth underneath.
There is no doubt that everyone is going to be wearing a Minion Costume this Halloween, but where can you find one? It seems like they are out of stock everywhere. Well, here is the scoop.
