How to Dress Like Lilo for Halloween

Dressing up like Lilo from the Disney movie “Lilo & Stitch” is a fun way to celebrate Halloween. You can use items you already have around the house and make this costume in no time. This costume is also perfect for any other dress-up party or event. Let your imagination go wild when dressing up as the loveable Lilo and have fun with the accessories that you choose to add to this costume. The more Hawaiian themed, the better!

Dressing up as Lilo for Halloween can be an easy and fun costume. All you need is a few items that should be fairly easy to find. If you have trouble finding some of the items, try ordering them online.
Items You’ll Need:
Blue Dress
Pink Flower
Blue Leis (1 or 2)
Shoes
Hair Clips (optional)
If your child wants to be Lilo from Lilo and Stitch for Halloween, you’ll find that there aren’t many options available in the way of Lilo costumes. There is one costume available, but it is expensive and the reviews for it are not good. However, you can make a Lilo costume for much less money by collecting various pieces of clothing and accessories.
Collect a blue dress with white flowers (Hawaiian-style), either by buying one or looking through used clothing stores or thrift stores. Try on the dress with your child to make sure it fits comfortably.
Look at pictures of Lilo online to see what kinds of accessories she wears. Buy a pair of red flip flops and a pastel pink purse with a bow on the front (Lilo often carries around a pink stuffed heart).
Wrap a yellow ribbon around your child’s hair, making it into a bow. Make sure the ribbon doesn’t go too tightly around their head, since this will be uncomfortable when wearing it for long periods at Halloween.
Lilo is a character from the Lilo and Stitch franchise, which started out as an animated feature film in 2002 and has gone on to include several direct-to-video sequels, a TV series and various video games. Her Hawaiian clothes make for an easy, fun costume for Halloween.

To dress up like Lilo, you will need the following items:
– A red t-shirt (the shirt in the photo above is a tank top)
– A skirt or shorts (the shorts in the photo above are denim cutoffs)
– Sandals
Optional:
– A white flower for your hair. You can use a real flower or a fake one. In the photo Lilo is wearing a real daisy.
Lilo is a little Hawaiian girl with a wild imagination. She and her older sister, Nani, live by themselves on the island of Oahu. Lilo’s best friend is Stitch, an alien that has crash-landed on earth and has no special powers.
The costume for Lilo includes: a blue two-piece bathing suit, a red-and-white striped shirt tied at the waist, and a pair of blue shorts. You can also wear a pair of flip flops or water shoes to complete the look.
