How to dress up like Alice

With Halloween coming up, it’s time to start thinking about what costumes to wear. Alice in Wonderland is a great costume idea because there are so many different characters to choose from as well as themes that can be carried out depending on what kind of group you want to assemble. I’m going to give you some easy tips and ideas for making your own mad hatter costume.

1. The hat

The Mad Hatter’s hat makes the costume, so if you don’t have a really cool looking one then you’re going to have a hard time pulling off the look. You can buy the hat online or at a costume shop, but if you have an old top hat lying around it’s pretty easy to make your own with a little creativity and imagination. Even though there are all kinds of ways people make their hats look creative, most of them boil down to just putting various types of ribbons, feathers and other decorations around the base of the hat and letting those hang down over the brim.

2. The Hair

In order to pull this look off, you’re going to need some crazy hair! The best way I found was by using clip-in extensions that had lots of crazy colors in them (you could probably also get away with spraying your hair with

Alice in Wonderland is such a popular costume for Halloween, and it’s pretty simple to put together. The most important part of the costume is the blue dress with the pinafore. It’s very easy to find this dress at thrift stores because it was a school uniform for so many years. You can also buy the dress new. If you’re not able to find the dress new or second-hand, you can always make your own using a pattern and some fabric.

A lot of people have blonde hair, so you don’t have much work to do on your hair if you’re planning on being Alice. If you don’t have blonde hair, you’ll need to get a wig or dye your hair blonde so that you can look like Alice.

You’ll want to wear tights and shoes with your costume, as well as white gloves. If your hair isn’t long enough, you should consider wearing a cute little bow in your hair.

Accessories are important too, like the rabbit and the bottle that says “Drink Me” or “Eat Me.” You could also carry around a “pocket watch” (which is actually just an old stopwatch) but these days everyone has cell phones so nobody will even notice that yours is from another time

I am going to a halloween party this year as the mad hatter. I want to look as authentic as possible, but I also don’t want to spend $200 on a costume that I’ll wear once. To save money, I’m going to make my own costume. This is the story of how I did it.

First, the hat. The mad hatter’s hat is the most recognizable part of his costume. It is tall and pointed at the top, with a wide brim. The hat in Alice in Wonderland is black, but it is traditionally made out of bright green felt (probably because it looks better in color pictures).

I started by making a pattern on paper, based on ones I found online and in books. Then I cut it out of felt, pinned it together with straight pins, and sewed it together by hand. The sewing was tedious, but easy enough for someone who has never sewn before (like me).

Next came the fringe around the bottom of the hat. To make this, you need strips of fabric (about 6 inches long and 1 inch wide) that you curl around your finger into little rings and sew onto the edge of the hat. This step took a lot longer than expected–I think if

The Mad Hatter costume is a great costume idea for any child who is a fan of the classic storybook Alice in Wonderland. The Mad Hatter is one of the most memorable characters from the book, and it is easy to see why many children would want to dress up as him. Here are some tips on how to put together a great Mad Hatter costume.

First off, the most important part of any Mad Hatter costume will be the hat that you choose. The hat should be top hat style, but with a large brim. For an authentic look, your top hat may want to be made out of felt so that it has a soft texture. The Mad Hatter’s hat typically has an orange or yellowish tint to it, so try to find a hat in these colors if possible.

Next, you will need to find an outfit for your child that matches the rest of his Mad Hatter costume. A long-sleeved shirt and pants are good choices here as they are both comfortable and versatile while still being appropriate for wearing under a hat. In terms of color, white or blue are both good options that will go well with the bright colors often associated with this character.

Now that Halloween is over, I’m sure your Alice in Wonderland costume is packed away for the year. But before you put it all back into storage, take some time to properly care for your costume and wig so you don’t have to buy a new one next year.

First, make sure all of your costume pieces are clean before you store them away. If you have any makeup stains on your costume or fur trimming, spot clean the item with a damp cloth and detergent. Make sure this is done as soon as possible after wearing the costume so the stain doesn’t set.

Once everything is clean, place your costume in a large plastic bag or garment bag to protect from dust. You may also want to use tissue paper to fill in empty spaces within the bag and keep your costume from wrinkling. Make sure this bag is stored somewhere safe, where it won’t be crushed by other items being placed on top of it.

Next, spray all of the wigs you used with wig spray and comb through them gently using a wire wig brush or comb. Place each wig on a Styrofoam head, making sure that it is completely dry before storing it away in a cool dark place.

Finally, be sure to hang up any hats or
