Target has some good choices for little ones, as does Old Navy and Amazon. If you want to do something more unique, though, have a look around Etsy or try making one yourself! Dressing up in character for Halloween is a long-standing tradition. As the 31st of October draws closer, many are seeking ideas for costumes that are unique and creative. The first step to this costume is to decide whether or not you want to be Daphne in the original TV show or Daphne in the new movies. The difference is that in the original show she had orange hair and wore a green dress, but in the new movie she has red hair and wears a purple dress.
If you want to be Daphne from the movie, simply dye your hair red and wear a purple dress (or any purple cloth). If you still have your princess costume from when you were young, it will work perfectly!
If you want to be Daphne from the TV show, purchase an orange wig and a green dress. You can find both of these items at Party City. Be sure to get some black shoes as well, since they are not included with the dress!
You will also need some accessories. Buy an orange scarf and some white tights. Then go around your house looking for small objects that could look like jewels (such as fake jewels). Put them all in a small bag and carry them around with you so that people can steal them like
Daphne Costume is for Women with a class. You can use this costume as a Halloween costume or for any other parties. It is good for a party of 6 or more people.

Daphne Costume
This is the costume that I made for my daughter last year. She was 2 at the time and loved Daphne from Scooby Doo.
I bought a purple leotard and tights, purple tulle for the skirt, some purple fabric for a headband, and some purple ribbon. I sewed the tulle to the skirt of the leotard, sewed the ribbon on to make straps, and sewed the fabric into a headband. The collar was some leftover fabric that I glued to an old yellow shirt. The whole thing cost about $10!
Make her a witch costume.
To make a witch hat, simply take a black cone hat and draw on a buckle with brown felt pen. Use a small piece of elastic to tie the hat around your daughter’s head (knowing my luck, this is where the hat will come off). If you need more help, check out this tutorial.
For the dress:
1. Cut out small triangles in the bottom of the dress – I used an old black t-shirt that was too big for my daughter. You can just cut it into a straight line across the bottom if you want – it would be easier and faster!
2. Rip or cut out jagged edges for the sleeves and top of the dress.
3. Tie some ribbon in a bow at the top of your little witch’s head, and…
4. Voila! A little witch costume.
