Michael Myers Could Break Out in a New Halloween Film

Over the course of the original Halloween, Michael Myers is shot six times, stabbed five times, hit by a car head-on, and falls off a balcony. That’s 12 separate times that the psycho killer should have been incapacitated or even killed. He certainly died well after Part 4: The Return of Michael Myers, but that didn’t stop him from coming back to life multiple times in the series so far.

However, it looks like he might be gone for good this time around. The Hollywood Reporter announced on Thursday that Blumhouse Productions has begun working on Halloween Returns, which will ignore all of the previous movies except for John Carpenter’s original 1978 classic.

Halloween is coming, and a new film about Michael Myers is being planned. This movie is going to be directed by Rob Zombie, and it will be a remake of the original Halloween movie that hit theaters in 1978. The producers are hoping to have the film released in time for Halloween 2008, and they have already started working on it.

The first Halloween movie was written by Debra Hill, who also worked on Escape from New York with Kurt Russell. The director was John Carpenter, who had previously worked on Dark Star with Dan O’Bannon. The concept of the film was originally written by Carpenter and Hill, with help from O’Bannon.

The original script was very basic, but in order to make it more interesting and scary, Carpenter decided to add some elements that he thought would help make the story better. One of these elements was the character of Michael Myers.

As we previously reported, a new Halloween movie is currently in the works. The film will be directed by David Gordon Green and Danny McBride, with John Carpenter serving as executive producer and possibly involved in the score.

The new film is set to ignore all of the previous sequels after the first two, and will serve as a direct sequel to Halloween II from 1981. Jamie Lee Curtis is returning to reprise her role as Laurie Strode. Also, this movie will feature Nick Castle as Michael Myers. Castle originally played Myers in both the original 1978 movie and 1981’s Halloween II.

That being said, a new rumor has recently surfaced on Twitter about what Castle’s involvement could mean for the upcoming film. The actor was spotted on set during filming, leading many to believe that he would have an actual role in the movie instead of just being an on-set consultant like previously reported.

Here is what a Twitter user had to say about it: “I ran into a friend of mine at an event who knows Nick Castle (the man behind The Shape) personally & he told me he was shooting some scenes for Halloween 2018! That’s all I know! Hope that helps!”

Remember in the old Halloween movies when Michael Myers would just show up at your front door and kill you? Well, get ready for a whole lot more of those kinds of deaths.

The new Halloween movie is going to be very different from its predecessors, which is no surprise given that it’s being directed by Rob Zombie. The most notable change to the formula is that Michael Myers won’t be the only one killing people.

“Michael isn’t going to be a huge mystery this time,” Zombie says. “We’re going to see him pretty much from the beginning.”

That means the audience will get to see Michael Myers as he evolves from a normal kid into an unstoppable killing machine. While that does take away some of the suspense associated with waiting for him to pop up at random, it sounds like it could make for a pretty good horror film on its own.

If you’ve ever been to a Halloween party, then you’ve likely seen someone dressed as Michael Myers. In fact, it’s almost guaranteed that at any Halloween party you’ll see more than one person dressed in the infamous serial killer’s costume. It’s also highly likely that someone will dress up as his victim or his nemesis, Laurie Strode. And while those costumes are always fun at parties, they’re even more fun on the big screen.

For those who aren’t familiar with the Halloween franchise of films, Michael Myers is an unstoppable force of nature who, after escaping from a sanitarium and murdering 15 people on Halloween night in 1963, goes back to his hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois every October 31st to continue his murderous rampage. In fact, he’s been doing so for the past 40 years! But when he returns this year, he’ll be heading to Haddonfield to find Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), the woman he’s haunted for most of her life.

While it isn’t clear what Jonathan Ross and his team have planned for Michael Myers’ return to Haddonfield – or how they plan on bringing him back to life – there is one thing we do know: Michael Myers is coming back!

The new Halloween film is not just a sequel to John Carpenter’s original classic film but also a direct sequel to the movie as well. That means that there are no characters from the other movies appearing in this one. This is a brand new story and an all new cast of actors. The movie is directed by David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express, Eastbound and Down), who also co-wrote the script with Danny McBride (The Foot Fist Way, Pineapple Express).

It tells a pretty interesting story about how Michael Myers became who he is today. If you’re not familiar with Michael Myers and his past, this will be a huge surprise for you when you finally see it. If you are, then you’re probably wondering why I didn’t go into detail about it. Well, because that would involve huge spoilers.

The story begins on Halloween 1978 in Haddonfield, Illinois. Michael Myers is an escaped mental patient who has been institutionalized since age six for killing his older sister Judith when he was only six years old. He escapes in order to get revenge on Laurie Strode and her friends for what they did to him years ago.
