I’ve been looking forward to writing this blog post all month! I love getting dressed up in costumes with my family and have a lot of fun finding the right costume for each person. We’ve done some popular ones in the past like Toy Story characters and Minions, but this year, I was determined to do something different. When I came across a new Disney character collection at Target, my mind instantly went to Minnie Mouse! I knew that the Minnie Mouse costumes would be perfect for my whole crew and couldn’t wait to get started planning.

This year, we had a couple of different options for Minnie costumes, but since it’s Halloween, we decided to go with the classic black and red polka dot one. It was so easy to make these costumes using simple clothing items from Target! I picked up three dresses: a toddler dress (my daughter), a women’s dress (me), and a girl’s dress (my nieces). The toddler dress came with the headband already attached, but the other two didn’t. So I picked up some headbands that matched the color of each dress and then bought some black fabric to hot glue on top of them to make them look like ears. The

For babies and toddlers, there are several options for a onesie style Minnie Mouse costume. There is a traditional red polka dot with white trim Minnie dress that comes in sizes from infant to 24 months. For a more casual option, there is a Minnie Mouse shirt with black leggings for little girls up to size 4T.
