The Definitive Guide To The Black Panther Movie: A blog about the Black Panther movie we saw in 2018.
Black Panther is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the eighteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Ryan Coogler, who co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Robert Cole, and stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa / Black Panther, alongside Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis. In Black Panther, T’Challa is crowned king of Wakanda following his father’s death, but his sovereignty is challenged by an adversary who plans to abandon the country’s isolationist policies and begin a global revolution.
Wesley Snipes first mentioned his intention to work on a Black Panther film in 1992,[4] with that project going through multiple iterations over the next decade.[5][6] Black Panther was officially announced in October 2014,[7] with Boseman appearing first in Captain America: Civil
The Definitive Guide To The Black Panther Movie
The Black Panther movie is a fantastic new film about the Marvel superhero. We went to see the movie this weekend and we loved it. This is our review of that movie.
We saw the new Black Panther movie this weekend. It was fantastic. I’m not sure how it compares to other super hero movies, because we haven’t seen any of them (we’re new to this genre), but as a standalone story, it’s brilliant.
The opening scene is set in Oakland, California (near where I live) in 1992. It’s a flashback to the first time T’Challa is introduced as the new king of Wakanda, and it sets up one of the themes of the rest of the movie: “who gets to be king?” Also, there’s a great soundtrack featuring music by Tupac Shakur and Public Enemy.
There are 5 main characters in this film: T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o), Okoye (Danai Gurira), Killmonger (Michael B Jordan) and Shuri (Letitia Wright).
The Black Panther movie is one of the best films I’ve seen in many years. The acting was superb, the special effects were top notch, and the story was so good that I could not help but love it. It’s a great film that everyone should see. The only downside to this movie is that it’s a superhero flick, so it’s not exactly a movie for everyone. If you have an aversion to superheroes, or you just don’t like the genre of movies in general, then this is not a film for you. But if you do like superheroes, then this is one of the best things you’ll ever see on the big screen.
In this post I’m going to go over some of the main points of the film and why I think it’s so good. If you’re interested in seeing this movie, then this post will give you some insight into what makes it so good.
What’s In A Name?
The first thing that struck me about this movie was its title. It seems like there are two types of people who watch superhero movies: those who watch them because they’re interested in superheroes and those who watch them because they have no interest in superheroes whatsoever. This movie is definitely for those people who are interested in superheroes, as
In the new Black Panther movie, T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) returns home as king of Wakanda but finds his sovereignty challenged by a long-time adversary in a conflict that has global consequences.
Black Panther is the first Marvel Studios film to be set in the MCU and the first to be led by a black superhero. Ryan Coogler directs from a screenplay he wrote with Joe Robert Cole, and the film stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa / Black Panther alongside an ensemble cast which includes Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis. In Black Panther, T’Challa is crowned king of Wakanda following his father’s death but his sovereignty is challenged by an adversary who plans to abandon the country’s isolationist policies and begin a global revolution.
The film was announced in October 2014 with Boseman first appearing as the character in Captain America: Civil War (2016). The cast joined over the next two years with co-production by Marvel Studios and distribution by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Black Panther premiered in Los Angeles on January
I have been waiting to see this movie for a long time. I finally got to see it and I am here to tell you all about it.
First of all, I would like to say that the movie was very well done and I really enjoyed the visuals in this movie. The movie takes place on another planet called Wakanda. Wakanda is a technologically advanced nation with super strong metal called vibranium. In the beginning of the film we are introduced to the main character T’Challa who is played by Chadwick Boseman.
T’Challa is a good man who wants to do right by his people and protect them from evil forces that want to destroy their way of life. T’Challa has been trained since childhood how to fight and defend his people but he must also learn how not just be tough but also merciful. He must use his powers wisely so that he does not become too powerful or greedy like some other superheroes before him such as Superman (who was an alien).
The rest of the cast includes Michael B Jordan (Creed), Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years A Slave), Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead), Angela Bassett (What’s Love Got To Do With It?),
We were lucky enough to attend the Black Panther movie premiere in Los Angeles last night, and we got to see the movie a day early. We thought this would be a good time to give you our review of the film and tell you what we think of the movie.
We have seen the first two movies in this series, but we haven’t seen the third one yet, so we’ll be posting our review of that one next week. We are also going to post our review of Doctor Strange next week. We’re going to be reviewing all of these movies as they come out, so stay tuned!
This is our third Black Panther post, and it’s a big one! We’ve been reading about the Black Panther for years now, and we’re excited for this movie to come out. And we’re glad we got to see it early!
The Black Panther is an iconic character that has been around since 1966, but he’s never been adapted into live-action before. In fact, this is the first time he’s ever appeared in a live-action film, and it’s about time he did! He’s a pretty cool guy with a pretty cool suit, and he’s got some pretty cool powers too. But who is he?
Well he
The blockbuster movie Black Panther arrives in theaters across the country this week. Marvel Studios has already made millions by releasing films about the Avengers, Hulk, and other members of their stable of superheroes. But Black Panther is different. It’s not just a movie about a comic book character – it’s a movie about race and identity in America today.
The first black superhero debuted in 1966, the same year the Black Panther Party was founded in Oakland. The Black Panthers were an African-American political organization that aimed to use armed self-defense against police brutality and white supremacy. They wore black berets and black leather jackets, with logos on them similar to what you’d see on a sports jersey today: a picture of a panther with its claw raised above an image of Africa.
The Black Panther character was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby at Marvel Comics, who wanted to introduce more diversity into their comics universe. They modeled him after Huey Newton, one of the founders of the Black Panther Party. His real name is T’Challa, king of Wakanda (an imaginary African nation), but he also goes by his superhero name when fighting crime around New York City as part of his alter ego Peter Parker’s superhero team known as “The Avengers.”
