It all started when I was looking for a great costume to wear to the next big convention. After searching around I realized there was nothing that stood out like a dragon! Then I found out that there are actually quite a few people making and selling them. But finding one wasn’t so easy and after researching it a bit more I realized that most of them were pretty bad. They weren’t comfortable or didn’t have much detail or weren’t even close to the image in my mind of what a dragon should look like.
So I set out on a mission to build a better dragon costume and now I want to share my experiences with everyone else who’s looking for one too!

The best cosplay is a dragon cosplay. Dragon costumes are the best costumes because they give you wings to fly with, horns on your head and scales covering your body. The dragon costume gives you the look of a real dragon.
My favorite part of my dragon costume is that it has wings to fly with! I love flying around in my Dragon Costume at Dragon Conventions, Role Playing and Cosplaying events. Flying around in my Dragon Costume makes me feel like I am a real Dragon!
I also love having horns on my head. The horns make me feel like I am a real Dragon! When I get my pictures taken wearing my Dragon Costume, I love seeing how cool the horns on my head make me look!
Before I start, I would like to say that the dragon costume exceeds in every way my expectations. The materials used and the craftsmanship are nothing short of exceptional. As a costumer myself, I can spot quality in a second. This costume is definitely worth the price and more. I was truly amazed at how well made it was!
I’m planning on using it for Dragon Con, as well as other conventions such as MegaCon, Anime Expo and others. My husband has been cosplaying for several years now and he’s usually the one dressed up. This time around he will be taking pictures.
I had always wanted to cosplay, but I didn’t know where to start. And then I found out about this amazing costume from a friend of mine who has one herself. She told me that she couldn’t recommend it enough, so I decided to take a chance and purchase one for myself.
I must say that it was worth every penny! It fits perfectly and it’s super comfortable to wear for long periods of time (we have lots of conventions over here in Florida!). The customer service was great too; they answered all of my questions and gave me advices on what colors to use etc…

The Dragon Costume by Rattlebox is a high-quality costume that is both easy to put together and take apart, as well as being very comfortable, even while wearing it through hours of play or at conventions. It is made out of foam, not cardboard!
The armor is made out of EVA foam, that is flexible and lightweight so it looks like real armor and doesn’t break or tear when worn, but can be folded into the backpack when not in use. The hardest part is putting the helmet on! Once you’ve done that, you’re good to go.

How to Make a Dragon Costume
You can make your own dragon costume for Halloween or Dragon Con with a few simple items. You’ll need:
* A pair of wire cutters
* The cardboard tube from inside paper towels or a roll of wrapping paper
* A large adult-sized t-shirt (or one that will fit over whatever you’re wearing)
* Scissors
* Tape (duct tape works best)
* Felt, cloth, tissue paper, or other flammable material in the color of your choosing
* A lighter (matches will also work)
Using the wire cutters, cut off the ends of your cardboard tube so it’s flat on both ends. Cut a hole in the middle of each flat end (you’ll stick your arms through these holes). Using the scissors, cut down one side and along the bottom of the shirt. You want to end up with a big rectangle. Slip this over your head, the long sides going down your back and the short sides going across your chest. This is going to be the body of your dragon. Tape the cardboard tube to either side of the shirt so it sticks out from your chest. Push your arms through the armholes you made in step one. Make sure they

How to Make Your Own Dragon Costume
This tutorial will help you make your own dragon costume.
You’ll need a few supplies for this costume, but it’s mostly made from things you probably have around the house. It’s a great way to recycle old cardboard boxes and other items that would otherwise end up in the trash.
I’ve seen people wear this costume to conventions and other events, but it’s also perfect for Halloween or any other time you want to really stand out from the crowd. It’s a lot of fun to make and even more fun to wear!
The costume starts with a cardboard box that’s about three feet tall and two feet wide. You can use an old refrigerator box, or any type of sturdy cardboard box that’s big enough.
To create the head, cut two large pieces of cardboard in a shape that looks like this:
