Vikings are the Norse people who came from an area called Scandinavia. That includes Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. The vikings were a group of Scandinavian seafaring warriors who left their homelands from around 800 A.D. to the 11th century, and raided coastal towns in Europe and even reached Iceland and parts of North America.
Nowadays, Vikings are admired not only for their bravery but also for their style, especially the viking costume.

In my last blog post, I covered the basics of viking costuming and accessories. In this post, I will cover the more advanced aspects of viking costuming.
The most important part of a viking costume is the helmet. The helmet should cover all but the bottom third of your face. It should also cover your entire head, including your ears and chin. The helmet should be made of metal or leather, and it should be padded to prevent injury from blows to the head or face. The best helmets are those that are made from metal and leather, but not leather alone; they must have both parts combined in order to form a solid structure that protects your head from blows.
The next most important thing is the sword. A good sword is made of high-quality steel and has a sharp edge on its blade. The blade should be long enough to reach the opposite side of the shield when held vertically (the shield must not touch it), and wide enough that it can be held with one hand at all times without slipping out of place. (A good rule of thumb is that if you cannot hold it with both hands while walking, then it’s too large.)
The third most important thing is armor. Armor protects you from blows as well as
The Viking costume is very popular in most countries and the viking clothing is worn by both men and women.
The term “viking” refers to a group of Scandinavian people, who were typically seafaring warriors during the early medieval period. They are usually regarded as pirates or heathens, but they were far more than that. The vikings were also traders and explorers who ventured out into the unknown world searching for new lands and riches. The Vikings also had a thriving culture, which included a rich mythology, sophisticated arts and crafts, and even an advanced religion.
A lot of people are familiar with the Viking costume because of their outfits in movies like “Lord of the Rings” and “Pirates of the Caribbean”. But what most people don’t know is that the Vikings actually had a highly developed fashion sense that was very advanced for their time. For example, they used to wear robes made from animal skins such as bearskin or wolfskin. They often decorated these robes with intricate embroidery or other embellishments.
In addition to their costumes, the Vikings also had special weapons like swords, axes and spears designed specifically for fighting at sea. These weapons were often forged from metal that was taken from other countries such
The Vikings were a warrior people who raided and settled in Scandinavia, Western Europe, Russia and the British Isles between c.800 and c.1050 AD. They were famous for their ships and their seafaring skills. The Vikings travelled to Northern Europe to trade with other peoples, but they also invaded parts of Britain and Europe.
The word Viking means pirate raid in the Old Norse language. The Vikings were also known as Ascomanni (ashmen) by the Germans for the ash wood of their boats, Dubgail and Finngail (dark and fair foreigners) by the Irish, Lochlannach (lake person) by the Gaels and Dene (Danes) by the Anglo-Saxons.
The Vikings originated in what is now Denmark, Norway and Sweden. They also settled in Iceland, established colonies on Greenland, and explored North America as far as Newfoundland.
The Viking Age began around 793AD with a raid on a monastery at Lindisfarne near Northumbria in England. From around 800AD until the mid 11th century Vikings carried out raids across Europe; they attacked coastal towns from Scandanavia to the south of France, plundering them for their wealth. The Vikings also invaded many other parts of Europe including
