Wonder Woman’s story starts in World War 2 when she was born on the Amazonian island of Themyscira. She was raised by her mother Queen Hippolyta, who created Wonder Woman out of clay. The gods gave life to the clay figure and turned it into Wonder Woman after seeing Hippolyta’s great love for her daughter.

As an Amazonian Princess living on an isolated island paradise far away from man’s world, Diana (Wonder Woman) had no idea what men were like until American pilot Steve Trevor crashed there one day while trying to escape enemy forces during World War II! After learning about all of the destruction on Earth caused by humans fighting each other over land and resources, Diana felt compelled to help Steve stop this war by leaving behind everything she knew on Paradise Island and becoming a hero for mankind!

Wonder Woman is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character is a founding member of the Justice League, demigoddess, and warrior princess of the Amazonian people. In her homeland, the island nation of Themyscira, her official title is Princess Diana of Themyscira, Daughter of Hippolyta. When blending into the society outside of her homeland, she sometimes adopts her civilian identity Diana Prince. She has a strong moral code and abiding love for peace and justice. She fights crime using martial skill while armed with bulletproof bracelets and a lasso that can compel anyone to tell the truth.[1]

If you don’t like the idea of wearing a leotard or swimsuit, you can also wear tight-fitting red, white and blue shorts instead.

Step

Put on a pair of red tights over your leotard or shorts. In a pinch, you can use stockings or even leg warmers if tights aren’t available.

Step

Wrap a wide gold belt around the waist of the tights so that it falls around your hips. If you don’t have access to a gold belt for this purpose, use gold spray paint to color any brown leather belt you have lying around the house

Wonder Woman Costume: Tips & Tricks

I thought it would be fun to look into the history of this iconic costume and at some of the other costumes that have been worn by the original wonder woman and those who have been inspired by her.

The original wonder woman had a very good, strong and sexy costume. This is what I think made her so popular (besides the fact that she was a super hero)

The first costume was very similar to that of All-American girl. The only difference being that it had a golden belt and bracelets, which were both made from gold. The costume then became more colorful with red, white and blue as the main colors.

The famous Wonder Woman is Diana Prince who, in addition to being an Amazon warrior princess, is also an agent of the United States government and member of the Justice League. She was created by William Moulton Marston for DC Comics in 1941. Her first appearance was in All Star Comics
