The woman who worked there was so kind to me, and her kindness immediately comforted me that I felt that the whole world was forgiven and forgot everything else. She took out some toys from a box under her desk and gave them to my son to play with, and then took us back to her house for lunch. It was a humble little house, but it was as clean as a pin, and she had made very beautiful curtains for it herself. After lunch she walked with us to the neighboring village so we could put our horse in a shed there for the night. Then we all went back together in the dark, in silence. When we got home again, she said goodbye to us and then left us to go back
