Child’s Play is a horror movie series about a murderous doll. In the original film, serial killer Charles Lee Ray dies and uses a voodoo spell to transfer his soul into a “Good Guy” doll named Chucky. His goal: to possess the body of Andy Barclay, the young boy who owns the doll.

The new version of Child’s Play hits theaters June 21. To promote the release, a new Chucky costume was unveiled at last week’s C2E2 convention in Chicago. This Chucky is more realistic than ever before: He has realistic eyes that move and blink while he talks (the mouth moves too). His head turns side to side so he can look around at you. The doll even walks on its own! How cool is that?

The voice that comes out of this doll isn’t some silly recording—it’s the real voice of Brad Dourif, who played Charles Lee Ray in the original films and has been voicing Chucky ever since! The movements are driven by a small computer inside the doll’s back. A speaker plays audio from an SD card inside its chest; an accelerometer in its head tells it when it should start talking or playing music. There are buttons on its hands that let you control what it does
