Beetlejuice Review: This was a costume that my son wanted for Halloween, so I purchased it from PartyCity.com. Here is my review of the costume and how it compared to other halloween ideas
The Beetlejuice costume is an officially licensed Warner Bros. costume, so it is a very accurate replica of the character from the movie.
I ordered the size “Standard”, which fit my son perfectly. He is 10 years old, 5′ tall and weighs about 90 lbs. The pants are a little long (which can be expected in this size) and the jacket is a little big, but with a belt on both they fit just right. Just make sure you order the correct size or it may not be correct for you or your child.
My only complaint about this costume is that the wig was smaller than expected, but my son didn’t mind this because he has short hair anyway (he’s a swimmer). If your child has long hair, I would recommend ordering a separate wig to go with this costume since it wouldn’t be comfortable for them to wear the one included in this set.
The Beetlejuice costume was very popular at school and trick-or-treating this year, so if your child wants to

First off, the Beetlejuice kids costume was a great deal. It was only $29.99 at Party City and that included three pieces: the shirt, pants, and wig. This is an all-inclusive price, which beats some of the other places that sell each piece separately for $15 each or more! The shipping cost was around $7 to ship in 2 days, but I was totally okay paying that since I waited until just before Halloween to purchase this costume.
The costume itself was very well made and looked great on my son. The wig was a little large on his head but he still looked like Beetlejuice and got lots of compliments on it. The wig looks like it should fit anyone up to 5’6″ or so based on how big it looked on his head (he’s 4’11”).
Overall this is a great deal for anyone looking for a Beetlejuice costume at cheap prices!

It’s a very nice Beetlejuice costume, but the main problem with it is that there are very few accessories and the sizing is a bit off. For example, the wig that comes with it doesn’t fit over an adult head. So, you have to wear your own wig under it. As for the suit, I would say that it is about a size too small as we had to go up one size to get one that would fit my son. Additionally, we had to buy some other accessories separately such as the gloves and shoes.
I wouldn’t recommend this costume because of the aforementioned issues, however if you are looking for a Beetlejuice outfit or need some Beetlejuice costumes then this will probably do just fine.
Beetlejuice Review
This was a costume that my son wanted for Halloween, so I purchased it from PartyCity.com. The costume was around $20 and included the wig, jacket, and bowtie. He also purchased a white shirt and pants separately to complete his Beetlejuice halloween costume.
Overall, we were very happy with the quality of the jacket and bowtie. The jacket fit him perfectly and the bowtie was adjustable so that it fit just right too. The wig was another story though; it was made of fake hair on a mesh cap material, and was not very good quality. It seemed like it would last for one day of halloween fun, but probably wouldn’t last much longer than that. My son ended up wearing the wig once for trick-or-treating on Halloween night, but we didn’t use it again since he only wore the Beetlejuice outfit once anyway.
If you are looking to create your own Beetlejuice outfit at home without buying a pre-made Halloween costume kit like this one, I’ve listed a few ideas below:

Black and White Striped Suit Jacket – You can find these at any thrift store in the “Men
The Beetlejuice costume was great for my son. It did not have the wig and make-up, which is okay since I believe that halloween costumes should not be “too scary” for children. The material was of good quality and it was easy to put on. The gloves were a little too small, but I think that was because my son is so tall, so they might fit other children better. I would recommend getting an extra pair just incase they don’t fit or get lost.
The shipping was fast and the packaging was done well. It arrived right on time! We compared prices with other stores and this website had the best deals on costumes and accessories.
Overall, this site has a great selection of halloween ideas and costumes to choose from!
The product is a three piece costume. It comes with the black and white stripped jacket, the red tie, and the pants. The pants are made of thin material with an elastic wast band. While they fit well, they were very thin. I thought they would rip while my son was wearing them because they seemed so flimsy. He wore shorts underneath to protect his legs from any tears or holes in the pants. The jacket is made of thin material as well and it has a velcro closure at the top. I feel that this jacket will last more than one wear because it didn’t look like it would easily tear or rip. The red tie is made of felt and has an elastic loop at the end that stretches to fit over the head. This is also very thin but did not appear to be easily damaged. When all three parts were put together, my son looked great as Beetlejuice!
Overall, I do not feel like this was a great buy for the money. If you wanted this for one night only for Halloween, then maybe it would be worth it. If you are looking for a costume that will last past Halloween and can be used repeatedly, I would look elsewhere.
1. The costume came in the mail on time.
2. The costume was complete and all of the accessories were included as advertised.
3. The costume fit in length, but it was too wide for my son, who is not a husky build at all. I had to use safety pins to make it fit tighter around the waist and armpits so that he would not trip over it when he walked or fell out of it since there are no straps holding the costume up like a pair of overalls or anything.
4. The hat was too large, but I did use some clear packing tape to help hold it on his head and keep it from falling off as much as he moved around with it on his head.
5. The gloves were too small, even though they are supposed to be one size fits most, which is fine since my son does not usually wear gloves anyway for trick-or-treating. If you want your child to wear them, you might have to look for another pair of gloves that will fit him or her since these are fairly small gloves, unless your child has small hands or something.
6. The wig looks good with the hat and everything else, but I have seen better wigs at other
