One of the most popular Halloween costumes for Halloween is that of a Cheshire Cat costume. This costume comes in many different sizes, styles and colors and has been a favorite for many years. Cheshire Cat Costume
The Cheshire Cat is a character from the famous book Alice in Wonderland. The story follows a young girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantasy world populated by peculiar creatures.
If you are thinking of dressing up as this mysterious cat, then you will need to purchase a few items. The first thing you will want to get is a pair of Cheshire cat ears. You can buy these online or at your local Halloween store. It is important that you get the right size because this will make or break your costume. You can also make them yourself using some foam, cardboard and glue.
Once you have your ears, the next thing you will want to do is find a shirt with a picture of a cat on it. This can be any shirt as long as it doesn’t have any writing on it. You can also use an old t-shirt and cut out some shapes from felt or foam to create your own design on there.
For the final step all you need to do is get some black pants or leggings and some black shoes (if they don’t already match). You could also wear white gloves if you wanted too but they aren’t mandatory for this costume!
Step 1: Remove the fur from the hood, front and back of the cat costume. Then cut a set of ear shapes out of felt, cover the ears with matching fur, sew the ears onto the hood, and sew a piece of elastic underneath each ear to keep them standing up.
Step 2: Sew two big rectangles to the back of the hood. Use two colors of fur and make a checkerboard pattern.
Step 3: Add a tail! Sew three strips of fabric together down their length, then turn them inside out to make a long tube. Cut a strip off this tube and sew it into a loop for the end of your tail. Fill with fiberfill stuffing and attach to the back of your costume.
