Funny New Year’s Resolution Ideas

If you’ve been following my blog, you know I am a big fan of funny New Year’s resolutions. This is why I created the Funny New Year’s Resolution Ideas app and the Funny New Year’s Resolution Ideas Facebook page.

I’m also a big fan of fitness. That’s why this year I’m making my resolution to wear a scarecrow costume whenever I work out. And I want to invite you to do the same!

It’s not easy to stay fit, especially when we live in a world where there are so many delicious foods available all the time. One thing that helps me is to be able to laugh at myself while I exercise. Wearing a scarecrow costume while working out helps me with that. The other day, for example, I was wearing my scarecrow costume while jogging, and someone pulled over and asked me if I had lost my mind. It was just what I needed! It helped me stop worrying about how hot it was outside and focus on the fact that with every step, I was improving my health.

There are all kinds of scarecrow costumes available online, but one of my favorites is this one because it has extra material on the side so that you can attach it to your bike if you like biking better than

6. Every weekend, take an adventure somewhere that you have never been before — even if it is just around the corner from your house.

New Year’s resolutions have become a bit of a joke, stereotypically starting off strong in January but losing steam by February. And often that’s because people set goals that are too ambitious, or else too unrealistic for their daily lives.

But what if you could make your New Year’s resolutions more fun and more likely to stick?

At the start of each year, I try to think of at least one silly or unusual resolution to add in along with my usual more serious ones. And those are always the resolutions I end up sticking with throughout the whole year.

I find it helps to pick something totally unrelated to my usual goals (like “get better grades” or “lose weight”) so my new resolution doesn’t just seem like an added burden on top of everything else I’m trying to achieve. So here are some funny New Year’s resolution ideas to help you get started.

If you’re looking for ways to make your New Year’s resolutions less boring, a little more fun and a little more funny, then check out these ideas. These are all resolutions that will get you laughing and smiling as you embark on a new start to the year.

Funny Resolution 1: Get Fit With Your Kids: Now this one is a great idea – why not resolve to lose weight and get fit with your kids? If they are old enough to walk around the block, why not have them join in your daily walk? You can even get them started on a healthy diet by having them help you cook! My kids love cooking with me, so this is something that we do often. As we prepare meals together, I am able to teach them about healthy choices and getting their bodies moving.

Funny Resolution 2: Do Something Crazy!: Ok, maybe it’s not so much of a resolution as it is something to look forward to – but it can be quite fun! I know that many people resolve to “try something new” every year, but this time kick it up a notch by doing something crazy! You could try skydiving or bungee jumping if you’re feeling adventurous (and brave), or perhaps just try rollerblading if you’re

Once you have a list of goals, it’s time to set your New Year’s resolutions. Here are some ideas to get you started:

● Try a new sport or activity.

● Lose weight the healthy way.

● Get in shape.

● Improve your diet.

● Quit smoking.

● Get organized.

● Save money.

● Spend more time with family and friends.

Always wear a costume to work.

This is one of my favorites, and I’ve found it to be one of the most enjoyable ways to make a normal task like going to work into something more fun.

For example, when I want to go to the gym and do some cardio, I’ll put on a pair of shorts, along with a t-shirt and a hoodie (all matching colors, of course). But then instead of wearing sneakers, I’ll wear a pair of black dress shoes.

It’s just enough difference from what people expect that they notice it – but not so different that they think you’re trying too hard.

I’ve also tried wearing a cape and mask at work – but in this case, you have to be careful not to look like you’re trying too hard.
