I’m trying to find a cruella deville costume for my wife for Halloween. Does anyone know of a good place where I can order one?

I’ve found plenty of places that sell them, but I don’t know how many of them are reliable or safe to use.

If you have any personal recommendations, please let me know.

thanks!

I just received a Cruella De Vil costume for my daughter. I ordered it from Halloween Costumes and it was delivered in no time. It is a great quality and is very cute on her.

I can’t figure out how to post a photo.

Most people looking for a Cruella deVille costume want the red dress. The one that looks like this:

I did too. I was going to a party and I wanted to be Cruella in the red dress! So after much searching, I found one on Ebay. However, it was not quite what I expected…

The dress cost me about $50, but I had to pay for shipping from England. That’s not so bad, except that when it arrived I found out that it was missing some very important accessories. A fur stole, a pair of white gloves, and some elbow-length black gloves. What’s a Cruella without her fur? So I had to buy those things separately. And then there were the shoes… Cruella wears white pumps with the red dress. I didn’t have any white pumps and couldn’t find any that were the right shade of white without spending more money than I wanted to spend on shoes (which was none). So I bought a pair of cheap black pumps and spray-painted them with Rustoleum’s “Thomas Jefferson White” paint. They looked pretty good (for $3)!

We took photos of me in my costume at the party, but unfortunately they all came

Cruella de Vil is a fictional character from the novel “The Hundred and One Dalmatians”. She is the main antagonist of the story. Cruella was portrayed by actress Glenn Close in the 1996 live-action film, where she had a much darker appearance.

The character of Cruella de Vil has been translated into other media, most notably two Disney films and a spin-off television series. The animated version of Cruella de Vil has become an iconic symbol in popular culture, often inspiring Halloween costumes, as well as being parodied in pop culture.

Cruella de Vil is first mentioned in Dodie Smith’s 1956 novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians. Walt Disney Productions’ 1961 animated adaptation of the story introduced Cruella as the main antagonist and Glenn Close would later portray her in the 1996 live-action adaptation 101 Dalmatians and its sequel 102 Dalmatians (2000).

A prequel film starring Emma Stone as a younger Cruella is currently in development with Craig Gillespie attached to direct. Close will also reprise her role as Cruella during flashbacks in this film.

I had a very nice one years ago, I was told it was from Disney World. It was a heavy quality coat with snap buttons that went down the front of the coat. A white collar that could be turned up and worn like a scarf or down over the shoulders. The hat was made of the same material as the coat with a white pom-pom on top.

I found it in a fabulous costume shop in Hollywood, CA. It may be worth checking out shops in Orlando, FL as well.

It is also worth checking out ebay or other online sellers to see if you can find one that way.

I recently purchased a costume from www.amazon.com. I thought the price was right (about $25) and I had heard good things about their service. Unfortunately, my costume arrived and it was too small! I called customer service immediately and they sent me a new one for free. I explained to them that this was for an upcoming event and they worked with me to ensure that I would have the correct size in time for the event. They really went above and beyond my expectations!
