Hi guys, today I want to share with you all my awesome Harley Quinn cosplay costume. This is only the beginning of my blog, so I will be adding more pictures and details in the next few days, but for now here is my very first post.

I was lucky enough to get a chance to go to the DC Comics store in Los Angeles this weekend. They had a huge selection of costumes, props, and other stuff from various movies including Suicide Squad, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Dark Knight Rises, X-Men: Apocalypse, and many others.

I decided that since they had such a great selection it would be fun to try out some different Harley Quinn costumes on myself first before committing to buying anything at all.

As you can see from these photos I really like the way this one looks! It has everything you need for a great Harley Quinn costume: red and black spandex bodysuit with padded shoulders, built-in fishnet stockings (instead of leg warmers) which makes it look super sexy while still being functional; thigh high boots that are made out of faux leather; white gloves; red choker necklace; red cuffs on each wrist; and last but not least – those iconic pigtails

My name is Tiffany and I’m a cosplayer. Cosplay is a mash up of the words “costume” and “play”. Basically, people wear costumes to embody fictional characters they love. Typically, those characters come from Japanese anime, manga, and video games, but it’s not limited to those media. You may have seen cosplayers at Comic Con or another convention. Or maybe you’ve seen some of my cosplay photos on Facebook or Instagram.

I’ve been into cosplay for years now and Halloween is one of my favorites because it’s the one time when everyone else dresses up too. This year I decided to make a Harley Quinn costume for Halloween because she is one of my favorite characters and let’s face it – she’s pretty hot!

There are many things you need to know before trying to make your own Harley Quinn costume. First of all, there are many different versions of this character out the first being her original outfit from Batman: The Animated Series (1992). Then you have the version in Batman Beyond (1999), as well as several others ranging from comics such as Suicide Squad (2016) to video games like Arkham City (2011) with its own twist on Harley’s look-alikes.”””

Harley Quinn is one of the most popular female villains in the DC Universe. She was created by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, and first appeared on Batman: The Animated Series in the episode “Joker’s Favor” which originally aired on September 11, 1992. She has since gone on to be featured in many animated series and video games, as well as live action films such as Suicide Squad.

Her popularity has led to her appearing at comic-cons and other fan conventions worldwide. Below you will find some great tips and tricks to help you make your own DIY Harley Quinn costume at home!

What You’ll Need To Make A Harley Quinn Costume

You can buy a ready made Harley Quinn costume online or from party stores for around $50-$100 USD depending on where you shop.

A major part of the costume is Harley Quinn’s hair. The character has her hair in pigtails with a blue and red streak. Once you have your hair in pigtails, you will need blue and red hair dye to get the look that Harley Quinn has. After you have dyed the strands of your hair, let them dry for a few minutes. If you have naturally blonde hair, this step may take longer.

Once your hair has been dyed, it is time to play around with the pigtails until they look like how Harley Quinn wears hers. Take the ends of the pigtail and twirl it around so that it curls up a bit. Make sure the ends are not too long so that you do not have any loose strands of hair hanging out of your pigtails.

You can now move on to painting your face white like Harley Quinn’s face. Do not use regular foundation because it will not go on as white as you would like. It will end up looking more like a natural look than what we need for this costume. Instead, I recommend using clown makeup or a white cream makeup from a Halloween store since they are generally cheaper and do exactly what we need for this costume.

So I’ve been working on my Harley Quinn costume for a while now. I’m going to be attending Montreal Comic Con in a few weeks, and cosplaying as Harley Quinn! So I thought I’d share with you all the things I’ve done so far and what’s left to do.

I’ve already finished these parts:

The mask (my boyfriend and I made it together)

The shoes

The wig

The mallet

Need to buy or make:

The shirt, shorts and leggings (I think I’m going to buy them since it’s easier)

The bat (I’m still debating whether or not to buy one or make my own, but if I do make my own, it will be from a pool noodle)

The tattoos (they’re temporary tattoos, so hopefully they’ll last long enough!)
