Released in 2004 and directed by James Wan, the movie follows John Kramer (Tobin Bell), who has been leaving victims trapped in deadly situations to test their will to live. It is a great classic horror film that will definitely leave you scared.
The Shining (1980)
Based on the novel by Stephen King, The Shining is one of the most classic films ever made. Directed by Stanley Kubrick, Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) gets a job as a caretaker at an isolated hotel in the mountains so he can write in peace. But things quickly go south as he and his family become haunted by ghosts.

This 1973 film has been said to be one of the greatest horror films ever made, and it is one movie that definitely shouldn’t be watched if you’re home alone! Those are some scary movies. I can’t even watch trailers for some of those!
My scariest movie is Poltergeist. It was just freaky to me. I have seen it several times now, but it still scares me.

I am not much into scary movies, but my husband definitely is. He doesn’t like the blood and guts ones that much, but he loves ghost stories and things like that. We will watch anything from Hitchcock to Asian horror flicks, if you can believe that!
I love horror movies! The more gory and bloody the better! Ones that really scare me are the ones based on true stories like Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Amityville Horror (the original). I also love Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Friday the 13th.

The Exorcist is an American horror novel by William Peter Blatty and film directed by William Friedkin, released in 1973. The scariest movies of all time have a certain something that makes your skin crawl and your breath catch in your throat. They can be as gory as they want, but if they don’t have that “it” factor, they aren’t going to make you lose sleep at night.

The scariest movie I’ve ever seen is Scream. The original with Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox before they got too old to do scary movies. Courtney Cox’s character is a news anchor in the film and she wears some really cute business casual clothes. I’d like to get a couple outfits like that for myself. I could wear smart-casual to work every day.
Scary movies are fun because they give you something to think about when you’re trying to fall asleep at night.
