The film explores the idea of taking risks in life. Lara Croft, a wealthy aristocrat, decides to risk her life in order to unlock the secret behind her father’s death.
She does not know what she will find at the end of her journey and there is no guarantee that she will succeed, but she takes the risk anyway out of curiosity and so as not to live with regret. She could have ignored the mystery surrounding her father’s disappearance and gone on living a normal life, but instead she decided to take a risk by going on a dangerous adventure which changes her life forever.
