What Most People Think About Ghosts is WRONG! Here’s What They’re Actually Like: Ghost blog.

Ghosts have been in the news a lot recently. However, many of the things you read about ghosts are wrong. This article will tell you how to make sure your ghost costume is historically accurate.

Popular culture has a lot of mistaken ideas about ghosts. One common example is that they are trapped between two worlds, or cannot cross water. Another idea is that they can pass through walls, which is false as well.

In actuality, ghosts look like ordinary human beings, except that they glow in the dark. This glow can be any color; it does not have to be white. It does not have to be transparent either; sometimes ghosts have shadows.

Ghosts do not usually wear clothes; this is another popular misconception. If they do wear clothes, it will always be a costume from their time period, because clothes do not age at the same rate as people do.

Let’s talk about ghosts for a minute. Most people think of ghosts as these semi-transparent, floating apparitions. You know, something like this:

But that’s not what they look like at all! That picture is totally misleading. In reality, ghosts look more like this:

You see? Not so scary after all!

What are ghosts?

Ghosts are spirits. A ghost is the soul, or spirit, of a dead person. They live in a world where you can’t see them, but they can see you.

Ghosts are dead people who haven’t gone to heaven. It’s not that they’ve been bad and don’t deserve to go to heaven. They just don’t know they’re dead yet.

What do ghosts look like?

They look just like they did when they were alive. Except for one thing: you can see through them! When you see a ghost, it’s either floating in the air or walking around on the ground. If a ghost is sitting down, you’ll be able to see the chair right through its body as if there was nothing there at all! That’s what makes it easy to tell if something is a ghost or not.

Do ghosts scare people??

Yes, sometimes they do! But most of them don’t mean to scare people on purpose. They just have a hard time figuring out that we can’t see them. So, for example: if a ghost doesn’t realize he’s in an elevator with someone else and he tries to push the button, guess what happens? The person sees him push the button right

The common image of a ghost is the bed-sheeted ghost. This is entirely inaccurate. Ghosts do not wear sheets, and only those who have never seen a ghost use the term “bed-sheeted.”

Ghosts wear clothes, usually blue jeans and T-shirts or dark suits. They are fully dressed at all times, even when first encountered at the moment of death. Actually, especially then.

Ghosts are not dead people; they are merely people who happen to be invisible, intangible, and able to fly around. These qualities can lead to confusion. A few ghosts realize they are ghosts and manage to get comfortable with it; most do not. Most ghosts think of themselves as people who are just temporarily unable to be seen, heard, or touched by other people – in other words, as living humans in some kind of trouble.

This makes them very difficult to talk to or otherwise interact with. A ghost will typically behave erratically or strangely when he encounters a living person, because he is trying urgently to communicate but can’t figure out how. In many cases he will no longer remember what his message was supposed to be; he just knows that it was terribly important.

When this happens we say that the ghost is haunting the building in

Flip the lights on.

Ghosts don’t like light. They prefer darkness. Darkness is their friend, and will help them escape your sight. Ghosts are tricky, so you’ll have to be quick. Look for movement, listen for sounds.

If you see something moving, keep your eyes on it! It’s probably a ghost in disguise. If you can get its picture with your camera, you may be able to record its true form and use that to identify it later. But be warned: ghosts are dangerous!

Try not to look directly at its face (ghosts hate that), and if possible make sure there’s something between yourself and the ghost, like a chair or a table or even another person. Like we said before: ghosts are dangerous.

Halloween is just around the corner. And I know what you’re thinking: It’s been a hard year, and it’s scary out there.

It’s time to take a break from all of that, and have some fun! Maybe you’ll head to a costume party, or maybe you’ll just stay in and pass out candy to ghosts and goblins.

But wait…wait right there…are those REAL ghosts and goblins? Or are they just people dressed up like ghosts and goblins?

Well if you’re not sure, here’s how to tell:

Ask them if they can float. If they say yes, then you’re dealing with a real ghost (spooky!). If they say no, they’re probably a goblin (also spooky!).

So this Halloween, be on the lookout for both ghosts AND goblins. Both can be dangerous!

Here’s my advice for those of you considering joining our ranks:

* don’t make too much noise, or you’ll be discovered!

* if you do get discovered, just pretend to be a regular person and no one will notice

* even though you’re invisible, you still need to eat and drink regularly, so plan ahead and bring snacks!

* try not to appear in mirrors, cameras, or video recordings; it makes people nervous
