What’s Your Halloween Costume This Year? It Doesn’t Need To Be Scary.

If you’re looking for a unique costume for this year’s Halloween party, I have a suggestion: don’t be scared. Sure, there are some hot new scary costumes”¦ but there are also some creative and easy costumes that won’t scare your friends and family away.

One fun costume idea is to dress up as a meme. You may have seen this one on the Internet: people dressed up as “keyboard cat” or “I can has cheezburger?” If you look through some memes and find one that you like, it might just be your costume!

Another idea is to not dress up at all! Just wear what you usually wear, and be yourself. That way, if anyone asks why you’re not in costume, you can say, “I already am!”

So this Halloween, don’t be afraid to stand out from the crowd. Be yourself, or somebody else. And no matter who you are, don’t forget to have fun!

I’m going as Wednesday Addams this Halloween.

Wednesday is my favorite Addams Family character, and I want to be her because she’s a smart, strong woman who doesn’t let the patriarchy (or weirdos) get in her way.

I’m also doing it for a more practical reason: I have just this one black dress and I’ve never worn it.

A lot of people are going to be Wednesday Addams this year, because lots of people like being weirdos, and we can all agree that she was a pretty cool weirdo.

And if you’re not sure what to be this Halloween, well, here are some suggestions that aren’t scary at all.

Be A Character People Like

Somehow I missed out on trick-or-treating. My mom always said I was too old for it and didn’t want me walking around the neighborhood with my little siblings. So I would always dress up for parties at school or with friends. And one year, she made me throw out my costume even though it wasn’t that bad. It’s probably why I have an affinity for Wednesday Addams now; dressing up has never been easy for me.

But we’re adults now and we can wear whatever we want! Which is

There’s a lot of pressure to have a good costume for Halloween, but it doesn’t have to be scary. Whether you’re looking for something funny or political, here are some ideas that are sure to win you a prize at your party.

1. You

Makeup artist and YouTube star Promise Tamang is at it again with another cool costume idea: Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family. The video features her own take on the creepy, kooky character.

We’ve seen Promise (and her sister Priti) transform into everyone from Disney Princesses to supermodels, but this costume tutorial takes the cake. It’s super easy, inexpensive and will make you the talk of your Halloween party this year.

If you want to follow along with Promise’s makeup tutorial, here’s what you’ll need: A long sleeve black dress or white blouse and black skirt, a black wig (if you don’t have naturally dark hair like Promise), a white face powder, a dark brown eye pencil and mascara. Not pictured, but also helpful are some white face paint, red lipstick and fake blood.
