Halloween is coming, and it’s time to get busy on your costumes. If you’re a SpongeBob fan, you might need some ideas for creating the perfect SpongeBob costume. Unfortunately, not all of us have time to plan out a costume, so we have some suggestions for you that are easy and simple.

You could go as the classic SpongeBob character by simply wearing yellow pants (khaki works if you can’t find yellow) with a white shirt. Draw on some black eyes with eyelashes and a red tie (with a little dab of glue), and attach some suspenders. You can wear some black shoes or boots.

If you want to go as Plankton, just wear green pants or tights with black shoes or boots. Wear green gloves and get some green spandex material or fabric to wrap around your head like Plankton’s body. Draw Plankton’s face and eyes on your head, attach two plastic antennas to the top of the spandex material with some Velcro, and attach black suspenders over your shoulders.

You could go as Patrick Star by wearing pink pants (pink sweatpants work well) with a white shirt. You could glue cotton balls all over yourself in different colors if desired.
