The series has spawned movies, video games and even a Broadway musical, and its characters have become some of the most recognizable faces on earth – if you don’t count their roundness and squareness.
The most popular character from SpongeBob is, of course, SpongeBob himself. While we’re not sure what kind of sea creature he is exactly, his bright yellow color and goofy smile have been a hit with kids for years now.
