This is a blog that offers tutorials/instructions on how to dress as Jasmine.

Every child loves a princess and the Disney Princess Jasmine is no exception. The daughter of the Sultan of Agrabah, Jasmine is an independent young woman who dreams of finding her own prince charming. In the movie, she meets and falls in love with Aladdin, but in real life, this character is the embodiment of strength and desire for freedom that little girls around the world can look up to.

If you are looking to buy a Jasmine costume for your toddle, then you have come to the right place. Below you will find all our favorite Jasmine costumes for toddlers – suitable for Halloween or just playing dress up. We also have a cute DIY tutorial on how to make your own!

I made my daughter’s Princess Jasmine costume for Halloween because I love sewing, and I couldn’t find any good Jasmine tutu options for toddlers. This is one of those projects that was super easy and fun to make. I spent about $15 in supplies, and it took me about two hours to finish the entire costume.

Supplies Needed:

– Gold fabric (I used a remnant of sequinned gold lame fabric that I found at a local fabric store, but you could also use gold tulle or chiffon)

– Purple fabric (I had some purple fleece sitting around that I used. You could also use purple taffeta or chiffon.)

– Yellow ribbon or trim (I had yellow seam binding on hand, but you could also purchase something like this.)

– Elastic (I used 1/4 inch elastic from JoAnn’s)

– Fabric glue (I used Aleene’s Fabric Fusion Tacky Glue)

– Purple headband

This blog post is a tutorial on how to create your own Princess Jasmine costume for your toddler.

The first step is to get a blue or teal colored long sleeved shirt, which can be found at any craft store.

Next, you will need to purchase some fabric. We recommend that you choose a white fabric with glittery sequins sewn into it. You can use the extra fabric to make the pants as well.

To create the pants, you will want to measure the width of your child’s waist and then cut two strips of the same width for both legs. Sew up the sides of each strip, fold them in half and sew along three edges so that you form two tube-like structures.

Now, sew these new pants onto the bottom of the shirt. For more details (e.g., how to make a belt), read this post: http://www.princessjasminecostume.com/2013/10/diy-princess-jasmine-costume-for-toddlers/

I’m a mother of two little girls- and one of my girls happens to be obsessed with Princess Jasmine. This obsession has turned into a bit of a hobby for me, as I love to make costumes for my daughter’s playtime.

This blog is where I share my costume tutorials – and also ask questions, share pictures, and connect with other parents who share this hobby!

If you have a little girl who loves princesses, chances are that she’s been bugging you to make her a Jasmine costume. I know, it can be intimidating! There are so many different versions of the princess out there, but hopefully this blog will help simplify the process.

Step 1: Measure your little princess. Make sure to measure carefully so that your costume will fit perfectly! You can find a great sizing chart here. Step 2: Buy fabric and accessories. One yard of turquoise fabric should do for most sizes (you might need more for bigger girls). For a toddler, you’ll also need about half a yard of white fabric and three yards of gold ribbon or trims. As for accessories, you’ll need a pair of gold shoes, some fake jewelry (gold bangles, earrings), and a gold tiara or headpiece. You can usually find these online or in stores like Party City. Step 3: Cut the fabric according to the measurements you took in step 1! The white fabric is for the pants, and the turquoise is for the top, vest, and sash. If you’re using ribbon or trims to line the neckline and hemline of the top and vest (like I did), make

I made this Jasmine costume for my little girl this year. I’m going to walk you through all the details that you need to make it yourself.

The first thing you will do is take your fabric and place it on the floor. You will place one child on top of the fabric (face up) and measure out how much fabric you are going to need for the width. Then, you will stretch the fabric across your child’s stomach and see how long you need to make the skirt.

Then, cut out two rectangles in your chosen color (I used purple). For my two year old I made a skirt that was 18 inches wide by 36 inches long.
