When I think about the color pink, I think about Princess Peach. When I think about Princess Peach, I think about her shoes. And when I think about her shoes, I think “what a lovely pair of sneakers!”
The first time we see Princess Peach wearing sneakers is in Super Mario Land on the Game Boy. In this game, she wore sneakers because she was kidnapped by Tatanga and taken to Sarasaland. Princess Daisy also wore sneakers in this game. It’s possible that they could have been wearing sandals or high heels but would have had a hard time running away from Tatanga and his army of flying eyeballs. Also, the color pink for this game is different than we’re used to seeing for Princess Peach in the other games (which is more of a pastel pink). In Super Mario Land, it’s much more vibrant.

Peach Shoes are hot!
Although Princess Peach is my favorite Nintendo character, I admit that I’ve never really given much thought to the fact that she has always worn high heels in her shoes. Sure, they made her look super cute, but didn’t they make running and jumping a little harder? Well, the folks at Nintendo have apparently thought about this and decided to switch things up a little bit for New Super Mario Bros. Wii. In addition to a new dress and crown, Peach now sports a pair of tennis shoes. And these aren’t just any tennis shoes either; they’re pink and have a big “M” on them!
I recently got a chance to check out New Super Mario Bros. Wii for myself at a Nintendo preview event, and I can confirm that the shoes are definitely more comfortable than heels would be for running around the Mushroom Kingdom. They also seem to give her some additional speed when she runs. But don’t worry! Just because Princess Peach is no longer wearing high heels doesn’t mean you can’t play as her anymore; you still get to do so by pressing + on your Wii Remote while playing with

Princess Peach Gets Her Kicks with Mario Shoes
You may have noticed that the iconic Princess Peach (or Princess Toadstool, if you prefer) always wears pink and white shoes. This is a tell-tale sign that she’s a princess. The princess has some new shoes for the 3d game, Super Mario Odyssey, and we break down why these shoes are so important to her.
Out of this World
Super Mario Odyssey takes place in space. Not like outer space, but rather a series of worlds you can hop between planets to collect moons. Along the way you’ll get different clothes for Mario and his new companion Cappy. However, these clothes don’t affect your gameplay at all. They’re purely cosmetic and they change what people think when they see you in the game.
In particular, when you visit the Luncheon Kingdom (a volcanic planet with a lot of food on it), you’ll find Princess Peach who has been kidnapped by Bowser yet again. Since she’s been kidnapped, she has no powers and can’t fight back against Bowser or his minions. Instead she’ll hide while wearing some new outfits.
The most striking thing about these outfits is the shoes. They’re bright red boots with tall heels and a little pom-p
If you’re a fan of Mario, you know that Princess Peach is the love interest of the title character and she wears pink. But did you also know that, in recent history, Peach has been known to wear some pretty sweet shoes?
We’ve compiled some of those memorable shoe moments for all the Princess Peach fans out there. While she may be a princess, she doesn’t have to look like one all of the time!
In Super Mario Bros 2, we see Princess Peach wearing some pretty nice strappy heels. These are usually her default shoes throughout most of her appearances in the Mario series. They are often pink to match her dress.
In Super Smash Bros Brawl, we see Princess Peach wearing some very fashionable boots that seem to be made out of peach skin. This is probably just a coincidence since peach skin is more orange than pink. It’s unknown if these boots are part of her usual wardrobe or if they were chosen specifically for this game because they’re made out of peach skin.
In Super Paper Mario (and other games), Princess Peach wears shoes that look like they could be part of a tennis outfit! They appear to be white with laces going up them and small bows at the top where
So, Princess Peach has new shoes. How fun! These hot pink kicks have a seductive high heel and a nice chunky sole to give her support while she’s out stompin’ some Goombas. She can also wear them with pretty much any outfit and they’ll look great.
I would wear these shoes in a heartbeat. If only I could find them in my size…
