Top 10 Reasons Why I’d Go See A Deadpool Movie

A sequel of a movie that didn’t do as well as expected and had a very different tone from the comics would be hard to accept by the fans. It is however good that Reynolds was able to convince FOX to do it as Deadpool 2. He’s a great actor and he did get me to see Green Lantern!

I’ve seen the leaked test footage and will definitely go see the movie on opening day if they make it. He’s my favorite Marvel character and I’ve never been disappointed by any of his movies. If you haven’t heard about this yet, here are 10 reasons why I’d go see a Deadpool movie:

1) It’s got great action scenes! The leaked test footage is really impressive and it looks like they managed to put in all the right things including the exploding headshot and Deadpool’s beloved katanas. In fact, I’m pretty sure they even used motion capture for his katanas so they’re more realistic looking.

2) It has an awesome cast! Ryan Reynolds has already signed on to play Wade Wilson while T.J. Miller will be playing Weasel, Gina Carano will be playing Angel Dust, Morena Baccarin is playing Copycat, Ed Skrein will be playing Ajax, Brianna H

It’s a fairly known fact that Deadpool is my favorite comic book character. I’ve been reading the comics since I was a wee lad, and have always enjoyed his witty banter and snarkiness. With the recent announcement of 20th Century Fox’s decision to move forward with a Deadpool movie, it seemed like an appropriate time to give my top 10 reasons why I’d go see a Deadpool movie.

10. I don’t want another Howard the Duck situation

In 1986 one of my favorite comic book characters got their own movie: Howard the Duck. The film was a complete disaster, and featured some of the worst special effects in cinematic history. The movie was not only bad, but it effectively ended any chance of Howard ever getting another shot at the silver screen. As such, I’m willing to sit through any Deadpool movie just so he doesn’t end up like his fellow duck friend.

9. FOX hasn’t yet completely destroyed every Marvel property they’ve made movies for

There’s no denying that FOX has had its fair share of terrible Marvel movies over the years (i.e. Fantastic Four, Elektra, Daredevil). But on the bright side, they haven’t completely ruined every single franchise they’ve made movies for! The X-Men series

I have a lot of favorite characters, but the ones that I can never get enough of are Deadpool and Spider-Man. So, with the upcoming release of Deadpool (and the already released Spider-Man), I decided to make this blog post about why you should go see it.

Deadpool is a character that has been around for many years. During his existence, he has gone through many changes and transformations. His first appearance was in New Mutants
